I met Wally Hoffman on the internet while doing research for the book "Documentary Of An Airman's Tour With the Eighth." Wally was with the Eighth Air Force, 351st Bomb Group in the 509th Bomb Squadron. He flew 35 missions over Germany as a B-17 pilot with the 8th Air Force when he was 22 years old. Wally is now retired and living in Olympia, Washington. He has had several articles and memoirs of World War II published on the internet. They are very interesting and I found them a tremendous help when researching material for my book. Below are links to some of Wally's articles concerning World War Two.
